Levels
How the 3D arrow puzzle works
Every level is a fixed 3D frame: a cube, a stepped tower, a ziggurat and more. Its faces are covered with long arrows, and an arrow can wrap over an edge from one face to the next. Tap an arrow and it slides along its own face in the direction of its head. If nothing is in the way, it flies off the edge and is gone.
If another arrow lies on that line, yours bumps into it, both flash red and you lose a heart. Turn the frame to check the far side: the arrow blocking you may be hiding around a corner.
Every frame can be cleared
Levels are built backwards on the surface of the frame: each arrow is placed so that its way out is clear at that moment, so taking them away in reverse order always works. No arrow ever points into a wall, and our solver checks every level before it is published.
Tips for 3D frames
- Arrows next to an outer edge that point over it are always free. Spin the frame and clear those first.
- Follow the line in front of a head across its face. Only arrows on that same face can block it.
- Long arrows that wrap around corners free up two faces at once when they leave.
- Check the back before you tap: a blocked tap costs a heart.
35 frames
Frames include cubes up to 7×7×7, slabs, staircases, stepped towers and ziggurats, then L, T and plus blocks and voxel models: a house with a door, a castle with a courtyard, a car, a mushroom, a heart, a tree, a rocket, a robot, an arch bridge, a cup and a city skyline. Level 1 is a small tutorial cube, level 2 is a big shock, and the spike levels marked with a flame are 2, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35. You get three hearts per level, and your progress is saved in this browser.
Frequently asked questions
- How is Arrow Escape 3D different from Arrow Cube 3D?
- In Arrow Cube 3D you remove whole blocks from a shape. In Arrow Escape 3D the frame never changes: you free the arrows drawn on its faces, and long arrows can wrap around its edges.
- Why can't I tap arrows on the back?
- Taps only reach arrows facing you. Drag to turn the frame until the arrow you want is in front.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes. It runs in any modern mobile browser. The biggest frames may take a moment to load on older phones.
