Ready?

You have 120 seconds. Clearing a board adds 3 seconds, a blocked tap costs 3, and a hint costs 5.

How Arrow Rush works

Arrow Rush uses the same rule as every arrow puzzle on this site: tap an arrow and it flies off the board if the line from its head to the edge is empty. The difference is the clock. You start with 120 seconds and play one board after another until time runs out.

Each cleared board adds 3 seconds back to the clock. Tapping a blocked arrow costs 3 seconds, and a hint costs 5, so speed matters but accuracy matters more.

Boards grow as you go

The first boards are small 5×5 warm-ups. Every two boards the next one gets bigger and busier, up to 7×7 boards with long chains of arrows. Every board is generated fresh for your run and checked to be solvable, so no two runs are the same.

Tips for a high score

  • Do not guess. A blocked tap costs more time than a second spent looking.
  • Sweep the edges first: arrows on the outer ring that point out are always free.
  • Save hints for big boards late in the run, when finding the last free arrow takes longest.
  • Any free arrow is a safe move, so never hesitate once you have found one.

Arrow Rush questions

Is Arrow Rush a free timed arrow game?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser with no download. Each run lasts until the clock reaches zero, so a good run can go well past two minutes.
Are the boards the same every run?
No. Every run gets freshly generated boards, so you cannot memorise them. Each one is still checked to be solvable.
Where is my best score saved?
In this browser only. Your best number of boards (and arrows, to break ties) stays until you clear your browser data.
